Amey has announced that members of its team will take part in The Great Tommy Sleep Out, an event organised by the Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE) to help raise money for homeless veterans.

With teams and individuals taking part across the country, the RBVE event in March will see people ‘give up one night, or more, of comfort' by sleeping out in the cold to generate awareness and raise funds to help provide ‘safe homes, mental health support, and a pathway back to independence', the charity explained.

Amey stated that it plans to put on local team events and added that senior leaders would be taking part as well as clients and supply-chain partners to ‘raise awareness, start conversations and help drive real change for veterans'.

In a statement shared on LinkedIn, the company said: ‘We are proud of our people and partners for stepping up and showing practical support for the Armed Forces community. We look forward to seeing the difference our people and partners make.'
