Amey has announced four senior leadership appointments to its advisory business.

Thomas Kinnear has been appointed as the company's delivery director for transport. He was joined by James Bulleid as sector director for advisory, Chris Gray as delivery director for water, environment and energy and Gareth Podesta as delivery director for defence and public estates.

Amey stated that Mr Kinnear will lead its transport advisory services across highways, rail, aviation, and ports, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in transport consulting.

In a statement the company said that he ‘combines deep sector knowledge with a strong track record in delivery' that has helped infrastructure owners translate strategy, data and technology into ‘measurable improvements'.

Mr Kinnear's previous experience includes senior roles at Deloitte and Network Rail, as well as working with major UK transport authorities and operators on ‘complex, nationally significant programmes'.

Colin Wood MBE MA FICE FRAeS, consulting managing director for Amey, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome James, Chris, Gareth and Tom to their new roles. For our clients, these appointments mean deeper sector expertise and a stronger ability to turn strategy into delivery, combining strategic thinking, data-led insight and a systems approach to achieve resilient, long-term outcomes.

‘Their collective experience strengthens our leadership and broadens the support we can offer across key sectors and markets, while creating new opportunities for our people and supporting growth in the UK and internationally.'
