TRL has appointed Dave Sharratt as its new chief commercial officer.

With over 25 years of experience as both a board director and executive, Mr Sharratt's career has focused on delivering growth and creating value across sectors such as utility-scale renewables, technology, transport and logistics, public safety and government services.

His most recent role saw him serve as managing director of authentication at De La Rue, but he has also held the positions of vice president (VP) at Array Technologies and VP of global sales for Honeywell Productivity Products at Honeywell Safety and Productivity solutions.

In his new role, Mr Sharratt is expected to lead TRL's global commercial strategy, which is planned to focus on ‘accelerating growth, expanding market presence, and enhancing client value'.

TRL CEO, Paul Campion, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Dave to TRL's senior team. His extensive international experience and strong track record in driving growth across multiple sectors will be a tremendous asset to the organisation. David's leadership will significantly strengthen our commercial capabilities and support our ambitions to accelerate sales and deliver sustainable growth.'
