Neiad Adams-Austin, a former senior traffic and highways engineer with the London Borough of Waltham Forest, has joined Transport for London (TfL) as a land ownership and interfaces engineer.
Mr Adams-Austin spent the past nine years with Waltham Forest, where his career began as a trainee technician in 2017. He then worked his way up through the positions of assistant engineer and traffic engineer before taking on his most recent role in 2024.
Sharing the move on LinkedIn, Mr Adams-Austin said: ‘It has been a privilege to work as a senior traffic and highways engineer and alongside such talented, dedicated and supportive colleagues.
'Throughout my time with Waltham Forest, I have had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, and I am truly grateful for the experiences, opportunities and friendships I have made along the way.
‘I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Emdad Ahmed, Stuart Atkins, Vala Valavan, Simon Barrett and Kevin Freimanis for their leadership, guidance and unwavering support throughout my time at Waltham Forest. Your encouragement has played a significant role in my development, including supporting me in my career progression and pursuing my Master's degree at the University of Cambridge, for which I will always be grateful.'
