The second joint seminar on Connected and Automated Vehicles, organised by ITS (UK) and Connekt/ITS Netherlands, takes place on 23rd November in The Hague with a strong focus on British solutions to the challenges of CAV implementation.Hosted by the British Embassy the meeting will open with a welcome from the British Ambassador and a short explanation about exporting to the Netherlands and investment in the UK by the Department for International Trade, as well as welcomes from Jennie Martin from ITS (UK) and Marije de Vreeze of Connekt.The seminar includes presentations and discussions led by a variety of experts including Arup talking about the Impacts of disruptive technologies: What does this mean for transport models, modellers and scheme assessment?, Greater Manchester's 'shared future, shared autonomy', and shifting paradigms in traffic with Siemens.There will also be speakers from Dynniq, Aimsun, Kapsch, Arcadis, ANWB Connected Car and RDW.ITS (UK) Secretary General Jennie Martin said, 'This joint knowledge-sharing approach with our colleagues in the Netherlands is another way that that ITS (UK) offers its members value, in this case by helping to open doors to international business and collaboration.'The event is free to everyone and places should be booked here:https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/anglo-dutch-seminar-on-connected-and-autonomous- vehicles-tickets-39223471459
