The organisers say "industry relevant plenary sessions and keynote speakers are being confirmed covering four key topics - discussions explored during these sessions will help shape future global policies, regulations and connected mobility."
The four key Plenary sessions are titled Automated and Connected Vehicles; Smart Cities; Connectivity and Big Data: Challenges in capturing, securing and connecting Big Data; and Mobility as a Service.
"These topics," the announcement reads, "are not only relevant for today, but they will shape how we live in the future."
In addition, technical tours will provide an opportunity to visit the behind-the-scenes technical centres which keep Australia moving and Melbourne repeatedly voted the world's most liveable city.
A number of delegate visits have been arranged to key transport centres including the Port of Melbourne to see the largest port in the Southern Hemisphere and a visit to the management centre for the largest tram network in the world.
