Piggotts has won a street lighting contract for the car parks at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, West Sussex.The contract, originally a tender for the repair of existing street lighting, resulted in Piggotts proposing a programme to replace the old lighting units with LED lanterns.This proposition not only delivered on the short-term brief but offered an 80% reduction in energy consumption, which aligns with the NHS strategy for sustainable development and environmental considerations.
