Registration has opened for the ITS European Congress in Glasgow.The event, from 6-9 June is Europe's largest event in Intelligent Transport Systems and Services, which the organisers Ertico say represents "the annual appointment for the European ITS community to share knowledge and make business".They expect more than 2,500 ITS professionals to attend and promise a number of highlights including the Mayor's Summit on Wednesday 8 June, more than 100 sessions around 5 Congress topic, a Gala Evening at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum on Wednesday 8 June, Student Programme to engage the younger generation, more than a hundred exhibitors plus technical visits to show "Scotland's best ITS".The Congress will be held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) which is just a short walk from the City Centre on the banks of the River Clyde and near to many hotels. Organisers have negotiated some discounted accommodation but they advise early booking.Registration categories can be found on the
