A fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Ken Evans is known as ‘Mr Wales' for his long-serving and outstanding dedication to Welsh highways. Having worked his way up from the bottom, in both public and private sector organisations, to the top of the industry, his career is a testimony to his unique and admirable character.
The lessons and stories he learned along the way make him an insightful and inspiring statesman of the sector. Here, in just 20 minutes or so, is a life spent in highways and a very rich and accomplished life indeed: one that went ‘from farmer to fellow' and now has 'no regrets'.
