Re-flow takes flight with chief marketing officer

Highways software provider Re-flow has promoted Ashley Wing to the role of chief marketing officer.

Mr Wing has played a key role in the business's significant growth since joined in 2019 in the client accounts team.

He was then quickly promoted to become Re-flow’s marketing manager in 2021 and then head of sales and marketing.

He grew these two teams by over 700% and was 'instrumental in quadrupling Re-flow’s annual recurring revenue and building a highly respected and recognised industry brand'.

He said that working with Re-flow, he has combined a love of technology, his experience with his family’s construction business and 'a passion for marketing'.

‘My time in support was really valuable. It was an opportunity for me to dig deep and understand our clients and their pain points,' he said.

‘On the support side, delivering customer satisfaction and making sure our clients feel rewarded, looked after, and cared for has always been a main priority. I wanted to embed that ethos into our team more than anything. It’s not enough to sell software and say, there you go, there's a product. For us, there's a long-standing commitment from both sides and we've got to be able to exceed their expectations. I set a high bar for myself and for the team.'

Looking to the future, Mr Wing said: ‘We've got some really interesting plans bubbling away that will be valuable to our existing customer base. The future toolset of managing teams in the field will exponentially get more intuitive, powerful, and flexible. We want to lift the industry to the next level.

'There’s a lot we want to do in terms of growth and being able to offer even more value and transparency. And really, my job now is to be able to focus on that side of it and make sure we're delivering on those key messages.'
