Liverpool City Council has tendered a new version of its highways professional service framework with an estimated value of £120m.

Split into four lots, the framework will cover:

  • Lot 1: Sustainable transport planning and policy advice
  • Lot 2: Highways and infrastructure design support services
  • Lot 3: P&P management and NEC contract administration support services
  • Lot 4: commercial and contract management support services

Taking place over four years, from 6 October 2026 to 5 October 2030, companies have until 26 June 2026 to enquire about the framework, with tenders then due for submission on 8 July 2026.

A maximum of eight bidders are expected to be shortlisted for Lots 1-3, with six expected for Lot 4. The council then plans to appoint up to four suppliers to Lots 1-3, with three expected for Lot 4.

Liverpool City Council expects to announce the successful suppliers on 2 September.
