Norfolk County Council has officially tendered its highways and infrastructure professional services contract valued at £103.56m.
The council is seeking ‘suitably qualified applicants' that can integrate with its wider highways team to deliver ‘high-quality professional services' in the Norfolk area.
Previous engagement notices put the contract value at £92.4m and then £100.8m, but this tender has seen the value increase again by nearly £3m.
Expected to start on 28 July 2027, the contract will have an initial run of five years until 30 November 2032, with a possible extension to 31 March 2040 bringing the total run time to just shy of 13 years.
Enquiries for the contract are due by 16 October, with requests to participate then needed by 2 November.
The council is expected to announce the successful suppliers by 16 July 2027.
