Hillhead 2026 (Hillhead Quarry in Buxton from 23 to 25 June) is set to be a record-breaking year, and as the enormous quarrying event gears up for launch, Highways reports on five reasons to make the trip.
1) With 620 exhibitors set to be in attendance over the three days, visitors will have a chance to meet with suppliers for crushing, screening and recycling equipment, as well as components, attachments, technology and services.
2) The event features live demonstrations taking place across the showground, including the ‘new-for-2026' curated Quarry Face demonstrations to be hosted by broadcaster and technology presenter Nikki Dean, as well as scheduled demonstrations in ‘Crusher Alley' and ‘continuous displays' across the Quarry Face, East and Registration areas.
3) It will also see the launch of new equipment, technologies and services, from electrification and automation to digital solutions and intelligent machine control.
4) This is a unique networking opportunity with ‘the people behind the products'. There is a chance to meet and speak to manufacturers, distributors, engineers and decision-makers in person.
5) Hillhead 2026 will feature all 15 of the world's largest heavy construction ‘Big Kit' original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), which makes this year the biggest edition in the exhibition's 44-year history.
