FM Conway will deliver highway maintenance and civil engineering projects across Bexley after winning a four and a half year contract.The contract, which begins on 1 October 2015, will run for four and a half years initially, with the option to extend for a further five years to 2025.FM Conway will use its own construction materials, produced at its fleet of proprietary recycling and manufacturing facilities located across London.Andrew Hansen, chief operating officer of FM Conway, said: “This is a significant contract win for the business, and we’re thrilled to be continuing our strong working relationship with the London Borough of Bexley.“Our self-delivery model is built around helping our clients to gain greater control over their highways assets; improving efficiency and taking cost out of the management of the local road network. Securing this contract demonstrates our ability to deliver highways maintenance services as part of a robust asset management plan, and reflects the value we are able to offer our clients through our unique approach to self-delivery of all services.”The London Borough of Bexley has had a 20-year relationship with FM Conway.
