A self-driving pod has been involved in a "fender bender" with a lorry on its first day of operation in Las Vegas, although it wasn't the technology's fault.The BBC reports that the vehicle, which was carrying passengers, was hit by a lorry driving at slow speed.Nobody was injured, and officials say the human lorry driver was at fault and he was given a ticket by police.The Las Vegas shuttle uses a system developed by French company Navya and travels at around 15 miles per hour (25km/h).A spokesman for the City of Las Vegas told the BBC the shuttle would likely be back out on the road on Thursday after some routine diagnostics tests.'A delivery truck was coming out of an alley,' public information officer Jace Radke said."The shuttle did what it was supposed to do and stopped.
