Dramatic video footage shows the moment a manhole cover explodes and narrowly misses a child and two adults who were walking past.The incident happened in Warwick Road, Birmingham, yesterday (22 January) afternoon and left a one metre deep hole in the pavement.A build-up of gas is believed to be the cause of the blast. Fortunately and amazingly the family passing by weren't hurt."Utility companies are investigating who owns the manholes concerned and the cause."
