Cyngor Gwynedd (Gwynedd Council) is seeking participants for a new North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent (NMWTRA) control systems framework for 2025.
Suppliers on the framework would provide design, implementation, installation and integration of control systems on the trunk road network.
There is currently no estimated total value for the work, which would run from October 2025 to October 2027, with the possibility of an extension until October 2029.
Cyngor Gwynedd declined to list an estimated total value as it ‘cannot guarantee future spend as it is subject to national, regional and local funding commitments’.
The framework allows for an unlimited number of suppliers and, once successful tenders have been chosen, it can be used by seven other councils – Ceredigion County Council, Conwy County Borough Council, Denbighshire County Council, Flintshire County Council, Isle of Anglesey County Council, Powys County Council, and Wrexham County Borough Council.
The enquiry deadline for this framework is 19 September 2025. Tender submissions are expected by the following week on 26 September.
Further information on the framework and how to apply can be found here.
Cyngor Gwynedd has been approached for comment.
