Balfour wins West Sussex deal

Balfour Beatty is believed to have won the the 5-year West Sussex highways maintenance framework.

The council has yet to officially confirm the decision but Balfour is understood to have been selected as the firm to carry out maintenance in the county.

The scheme comprises highways and bridge maintenance including capital works up to £500,000 but excludes street lighting.

Works will include winter maintenance, highways verge maintenance, maintenance and renewal of traffic lights and maintenance and renewal of car parks.

The framework comes with the provision to extend for an extra two years
