Roadtechs Group has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, committing the company to employing and supporting Armed Forces personnel into work.
The pledge means the treatment solutions specialist will provide work opportunities and support to those who serve in the Armed Forces, whether regular or reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families.
Roadtechs said it would attend national recruitment events to assist forces workers as they transition from serving into civilian job roles.
As an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, Roadtechs has also committed to supporting reservists and those in cadet organisations by granting additional leave, will champion national events and support Armed Forces charities.
Adam Lilley, General Manager, said: 'We are very proud to sign the Armed Forces Covenant and have agreed several commitments that will see us support the Armed Forces community throughout the years to come. We are grateful to those who have dedicated their lives - and still do - to protecting our country and we would be honoured to have them amongst our own workforce.
'As each surface treatment season gets busier, we recognise the need to recruit from diverse pools of talent. We believe the nature of our surface treatment work, such as Reclamite asphalt rejuvenation, would suit Armed Forces Personnel. It's technical, precise, fast-paced, seasonal and we require skilled operators with an HGV license.'
