Adam Tucker has stepped down from his role as digital delivery lead for National Highways' Lower Thames Crossing programme.
Announcing his departure on LinkedIn, Mr Tucker stated: ‘After five incredible years, this Friday marks my last day as Digital Delivery Lead on the Lower Thames Crossing programme.
‘It's hard to capture five years in a single post, but I'll try. I joined LTC at an early stage and had the privilege of helping shape the digital backbone of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes — leading delivery across 35+ Azure-hosted applications supporting a £10bn scheme that will change how people move through this region for generations.'
He said that he had watched the team around him ‘evolve considerably' over the past five years, and added: ‘At points I found myself as the last remaining member of the original crew, which gives you a particular perspective on just how much this programme has grown and changed.'
Giving thanks to the ‘early days crew', including Wayne Hofman, Sergiy Rusnak, Renu, Dr Amir Mansour Sarrafan (LION), Robert Coules, Jamie Sampher, Scott Reader, and Tony Sutton, he called them a ‘brilliant, committed group' who built the foundations of something that still stands.
He also thanked Phill Cortes and David Mccormick, who ‘picked up the baton seamlessly', along with Christopher McMahon, programme services director for LTC, and Richard Godfrey.
His final remarks were to thank those who made his five years working on the LTC ‘what they were', concluding: ‘It's been an honour'.
