Transport for London (TfL) has announced that Patrick Doig will replace Rachel McLean as managing chief finance officer (CFO) upon her retirement on 14 February 2026.
After joining TfL in 2007 as a financial analyst, Mr Doig secured several promotions and became part of the TfL leadership team. His most recent position was as statutory CFO and group procurement and commercial director.
Mr Doig will also continue to be TfL's statutory CFO, a role he has held since 2021.
Andy Lord, TfL's commissioner, said: 'Patrick's leadership has been instrumental during some of our most challenging times. His appointment as CFO reflects Patrick's exceptional leadership, deep knowledge of our business and unwavering dedication to our people.
'I would like to again thank Rachel McLean for everything she has done for TfL and for London during her tenure, and to congratulate Patrick on this well-deserved achievement. I am excited to see the continued positive impact he will bring in this new capacity.'
