Kent wants firms for £18m surfacing contract

Kent County Council is looking for contractors for an £18m highways resurfacing job.

The eleven month deal could lead to a 12 month extension to resurface roads across the county.

The first phase will involve work on 55 routes to carry out cold milling of the existing surface and repaving with a binder course.

All sites will include adjustments to covers and replacement of road markings and road studs where required and some sites will require the application of High Friction Surfacing.
