Wilson joins Mouchel

Mouchel has appointed Gordon Wilson to the new post of highways business unit director for Scotland and Ireland.

With more than 30 years’ experience, Wilson joins from Grontmij where he was operations director responsible for its transportation activities in Scotland and brings significant insight to outsourced contracts for large roads maintenance. He previously worked for Amey’s public services and roads operations having started his career with Lothian Regional Council and West Lothian Council.

Highways design and management director, Norrie Westbrook, said: “Gordon will support our growth agenda for our consultancy business in Scotland and Ireland. In terms of design and management activities, we already support a number of Transport Scotland schemes and are competing for the dualling of the A9. In Northern Ireland, for example, we continue to support the A5 dualling project.”
