Nottingham City Council has tendered a £9.6m framework for surface treatments and in-situ retread works.
The framework is expected to be split into four lots, with the possibility of two suppliers being awarded to each lot. The council expects the contract to run for four years from 10 November 2025 to 9 November 2029.
The lots will be divided as follows:
- Lot 1: Asphalt preservative works, with an estimated value of £600,000
- Lot 2: Footway slurry surfacing, with an estimated value of £1.2m
- Lot 3: Micro surfacing, with an estimated value of £6m
- Lot 4. Retread Insitu Recycling, with an estimated value of £1.8m
The inquiry deadline for this framework is 24 September, with tenders to be submitted by 1 October.
The authority will evaluate the submissions with the following award criteria: price 50%, quality 30%, and social value 20%.
