Core Highways Group has appointed respected industry figures Charlie Cornish and Jenny Moten to its senior leadership.
The UK provider of temporary traffic management, permanent barrier solutions and associated services said the appointments strengthened its position in the UK highways services sector.
Ms Moten (right) has joined the company as regional managing director from Cadent Gas, where she was northwest network director.
She was previously a business director for Amey and spent 12 years with National Highways and its predecessors, where she held the roles of regional operations manager for the Traffic Officer Service, asset delivery manager for Areas 7 and 9, and programme director.
Mr Cornish (below) has been appointed group chairman.
He has held top-level roles at a range of businesses including West of Scotland Water, Thames Water, United Utilities, Manchester Airport Group Plc, Plessey Telecommunications, British Aerospace and ABF.
Core Highways CEO Lizi Stewart said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Jenny and Charlie to the company.

Core Highways has also promoted Dan East to win work director from his role as commercial director at group company Amberon Traffic Management.
He has been with the business for 17 years, having joined as national sales manager in 2006.
Ms Stewart said the firm was also delighted with the promotion of Mr East 'as it shows a clear demonstration of our commitment to promote talent from within'.
Core Highways provides a nationwide service from 40 depots across England and Wales via group brands Forest Traffic, Amberon Traffic Management, MLP Traffic, Barrier Services Ltd and JTM Signs.
