East Riding of Yorkshire Council has awarded three suppliers contracts as part of its new Specialists Construction Services Framework, with the total works valued at £22m.
The framework is split into three lots: highways advice and project support, civil engineering project support and building project support.
Each of the lots had the following award criteria:
- Quality criterion - Name: Key Staff / Weighting: 30%
- Price - Weighting: 70%
The winners were a trio of local outfits. The first lot has been assigned to Crosby Ferguson & Medcalf from Beverley in East Riding, with the second awarded to Aleon Limited also from Beverly.
The third was granted to Gray Quantity Surveying Services in Brandesburton in East Riding.
The contracts were awarded after an open procurement, during which seven tenders were submitted.
When asked about the length of the contracts, East Riding of Yorkshire Council said that it was 'dependent on the needs of the service area'.
