Salford names winners on £40m framework

21/02/2022 | DOMINIC BROWNE

Salford City Council has awarded 19 contractors a place on a £40m framework.

Covering six lots, the technical services framework covers a three year period, plus a further year subject to annual review.

Throughout all the lots, the tender was judged on quality (30%), price (50%) and social value (20%).

A report on the procurement said: 'Social Value has been increased to 20% to give SCC an opportunity to utilise the Social Value Portal’s (SVP) expertise and maximise the benefits to the community, local supply chain and environment.
