Winners named on £205m north west construction framework

28/01/2019 | DOMINIC BROWNE

Highways England has named a score of companies that have won places on a £205m contract framework in the North West.

The Construction Works Framework covers 10 different specialisms of work and will run for four years across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire.

The framework will start on 1 April and deals with a range of activities, including renewal work to roads and bridges, and improvement schemes on the strategic road network.

It forms part of the Asset Delivery contracts for Highways England's Area 10 region and the successful companies will work alongside Amey, which won the maintenance and response and design services contracts for the area last year.
