The speaker lineup for this year’s Highway Skills event is now complete and includes support from the likes of Highways England, HS2, Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
Highway Skills – Delivering a workforce fit for the future, is a one-day conference designed to bring together key stakeholders within the sector to assess, strategise and collaborate as to how skills can be maximised for the future workforce.
The event is jointly presented by the National Highways Academy (NHA) and Highways Magazine; directly relating to the launch of their Highways Recruit service.
Delegates are invited to come along to hear from those at the centre of both policy developments and best practice in the development of the highways sector skill set.
The event is taking place at the London Transport Museum on 29 September. Sir Terry Morgan chair of the government’s transport and infrastructure skills strategy (and chairman of Crossrail), is the keynote speaker.
