Windsor Receives the Royal Treatment from Eurovia Surfacing

Eurovia Surfacing has completed resurfacing works on the prestigious Thames Street in Windsor which runs up the side of Windsor Castle to the main gate.

The works were carried out as part of the annual programme of work that Eurovia Surfacing currently undertake on behalf of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

The works involved planing the existing surface and replacing it with 45mm of a 14mm Thin Surface Course system over an area of 1800m². This had to be delivered in two halves commencing at the lower end on the 1^st day and completing the top half up to the castle entrance on the 2^nd day.

Eurovia Surfacing secured the contract in 2013, re-won it in 2014 and successfully renegotiated the retention of the contract for 2015 and 2016.  The company says this is "testament to the Eurovia Surfacing teams involved in delivering high levels of quality and service to the client".
