A-Plant wins events contract

A-Plant Lux has been awarded a three-year contract to supply traffic management and operatives to Plymouth City Council for events work.

The traffic control and management provider will be the sole supplier of these services during this time.

This latest deal follows a succession of contract wins which has seen the firm secure over £3 million worth of work from Hanson, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Morgan Sindall.

A-Plant Lux will work with the council’s events team whose responsibility is to work with both internal and external customers in the organisation and management of events that take place in the Plymouth area.

As part of the contract, A-Plant Lux will be supplying design, planning and implementation services for temporary road closures and traffic management to ensure public safety and execute safe and successful events.

The three-year contract also has an optional two-year extension.
