Following a rapid expansion in business and personnel, MVIS has appointed its first dedicated customer relationship manager.
The leading temporary intelligent transport system (ITS) provider has signed up Ian Lee from Highways England, who brings 15 years’ experience of the highways industry.
Mr Lee takes responsibility for managing MVIS’ client services operation and will also manage its new North of England depot.
MVIS' client base now numbers approximately 100 organisations with live projects including Highways England’s flagship 21-mile Cambridge to Huntingdon A14 upgrade scheme (pictured right - MVIS signage supporting the scheme).
General manager, Anne Ashman, said: 'MVIS has grown rapidly since its foundation in 2012, its team expanding from four to 19, and customers now including all the major national traffic management organisations.
'Over that time, the company has steadily built a solid reputation for efficient and trustworthy service, and the appointment of a highly experienced and dedicated customer relationship manager will enable us to further enhance this offer.
'We look forward to Traffex, where Ian will be on MVIS’ stand (G025) to meet existing and potential customers alike.'
Ian’s appointment is the latest development for MVIS, which earlier this month became one of the first companies in the sector to achieve ISO 45001:2018 accreditation for occupational health and safety management. The firm is also ISO registered in quality and environmental health.
