Parsons Brinckerhoff has expanded its highways and transportation team and is opening a new office in Croydon, south London.
The office will be home to a new team, which is already 20 strong, and reflects the continued growth of Parsons Brinckerhoff’s specialist activity in this sector.
Mike D’Alton, Parsons Brinckerhoff’s director for highways, transportation and asset management, said: “Parsons Brinckerhoff has expanded rapidly in the highways and transportation sector both during and post-recession. The new Croydon office complements our specialist teams in central London at Devonshire Square and our North London presence at South Mimms, and helps us sustain the expansion and growth in response to the burgeoning work we are undertaking in the road, rail, aviation and development planning sectors.
“The transport linkages offered by Croydon make it an obvious location for attracting the best talent in the industry to join us and work on some of the most interesting and exciting projects happening in UK at the moment.”
Typical work the team is currently involved with includes the M25 DBFO concession, structures and tunnels portfolio investment for Transport for London, spatial planning framework for the Highways Agency, local sustainable transport fund projects for Hampshire and Surrey County Councils and a mini-Holland cycle strategy for the London Borough of Bexley as well as a host of projects for developers and London boroughs.
