East Riding of Yorkshire Council has tendered for a new road sweeper fleet with an estimated value of up to £1.8m.
The contract for the supply of road sweepers is expected to run from 1 November 2025 for four years until 31 October 2029 and allows for an unlimited number of suppliers. However, the framework is only intended for use by East Riding of Yorkshire.
The council will be looking at price as the main award criterion, with it making up 70% of the overall weighting for applications. The other 30% will be divided between method statement questions (16%) and evaluations of the vehicles (14%).
The enquiry deadline is 1 September 2025, with the tender deadline following two weeks later on 15 September. All successful suppliers are expected to be announced on 15 October 2025.
Full details on how to participate in the framework can be found here.
