Jamieson joins Carnell

Highways maintenance specialist Carnell Support Services has appointed former A-One+ managing director Andy Jamieson as strategic director.

Jamieson brings over 30 years of industry experience to this new role.

A key part of his newly created role will be to build further on the close relationships with the tier one service providers that the company supports.

The chief executive/chairman of Carnell, Darren Nelson, said: “Andy will be a fantastic asset to an already formidable team. Having known and worked with him for eight years, we know he will bring invaluable client perspective and knowledge to our business.”

Managing director Aidan Clarke added: “We look forward to Andy playing a key role in helping us to support tier one service providers as they assist Highways England's £24 billion gearing for growth strategy. Our own business is growing fast as we respond to meet the needs of one of the largest spends since the 1970 road building programme.”
