The London Borough of Ealing is seeking tenders for a new highways and transport framework with a total estimated value of £1bn.
The framework will be divided into four lots:
- structure inspections - estimated at £39.6m
- road condition monitoring - estimated at £39.6m
- general engineering - estimated at £792m
- and flood management - estimated at £158.4m.
The borough wants to appoint a maximum of nine suppliers to the framework, with all participating contractors able to bid for any of the four lots.
Ealing has also stated that it will use access agreements to allow ‘all other interested London local government authorities’ to use the framework.
The deadline to apply to the framework is 29 August, with the award decision expected to be announced on 20 October 2025.
