WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff awarded places on HE frameworks

WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff has been awarded places on two Highways England frameworks.

One is to provide specialist technical services and research (Lot 1), and the other to deliver commercial and costs advice (Lot 2) – following the Highways England Specialist Professional and Technical Services (SPaTS) framework tender.

The firm will work on the SPaTS framework for four years, building on its 10-year association with Highways England.

The technical services and research framework (Lot 1) covers specialist advice on a wide range of topic areas including technical assurance, highways and bridges, geotechnical, technology and environmental research – as well as standards and guidance, user surveys, cycling and sustainable travel and safety and commercial risk evaluation.

The Lot 2 framework covers the provision of commercial management, performance and cost engineering services across all Highways England activities – helping it in its mission to secure essential commercial assurance support for the £11 billion of capital investment in its Roads Improvement Strategy, announced in December 2014.
