Arcadis Consulting has been awarded an Employer’s Agent commission to assist the Welsh Government with the next stages of the A483 Llandeilo and Ffairfach improvements scheme.
As they currently stand, the plans include the construction of a bypass and the introduction of a one-way system, with an estimated cost of £88m. Production is expected to commence in 2029, with an end date of Autumn 2031.
Arcadis has been brought on board to assist with the procurement of a contractor ‘to design, finalise the business case and draft orders in relation to the scheme’.
