Best practice group set-up for patch repairs

The Road Surface Treatments Association has established a new industry group to forward industry best practice for the patch repairs of roads.

The RSTA Patch Repair Sub-Committee aims to develop a new industry Code of Practice covering the wide range of patch repair techniques.

The Code, which is expected to be made available later this year, will provide a single point of reference. RSTA will be seeking client endorsement for the Code which will also meet the requirements of Sector Scheme 13 registration.

Currently members of the sub-committee includes leading patch repair practitioners: Velocity UK; Jetpatcher; Intarmac; Nu-Phalt; Archway; Stirling Lloyd; ASI plc. Companies who are interested in raising industry standards are welcome to join.
