National Highways and Traffex announce official partnership and 'networking opportunity of the year'

26/05/2023 |

Traffex and National Highways have announced an official partnership ahead of this year’s event, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham next week, from June 6 to 8.

National Highways will be hosting hundreds of high-level delegates from across the industry, including senior Tier One representatives, heads of highways departments, local authority chief executives and over 100 senior figures from across the National Highways team.

The National Highways Networking Lounge will be fully catered and provide the perfect platform for networking, and team meetings and offer senior delegates the chance to step away from the busy show floor to discuss opportunities across the sector.

Long-established as the trading floor of highways and transport, this is the first time that Traffex has hosted such a prominent National Highways presence and further enhances the growing partnership between the two organisations.

The partnership has also seen National Highways expand its presence in Traffex’s largest conference programme to date, with chief executive Nick Harris (right) providing the keynote address and a range of his senior colleagues taking the stage in 10 additional sessions across the three days of the show.

Strategic communications manager at National Highways, Ian Oliver said ‘Traffex is one of the key events in the highways sector calendar and a real opportunity for us at National Highways to reach out to our partners and colleagues across the industry.'

Traffex director Gordon Kirk said: ‘We are proud to share a close relationship with National Highways and they are the perfect fit to host the networking lounge. They play a critical role in leading this sector and contributing to the evolution of our industry, which is something we are pleased to reflect on throughout our conference programme.

'With the show’s history and unique reach throughout the supply chain, we look forward to bringing the sector together for an exceptional event this June. Traffex and National Highways share the same vision and ambitions for this sector, better roads for a better tomorrow. We are proud to be further developing this partnership and this initiative will help deliver what Traffex does best – connecting the industry. This will be the networking opportunity of the year.’

Registration to Traffex is completely free of charge and includes access to the five stream conference, networking opportunities and 200+ suppliers on the exhibition floor. You can register free here - https://www.traffex.com/
