The new ITS (UK) chief executive has met with members from across Scotland as the trade body attended Road Expo Scotland in Glasgow this week.
The Intelligent Transport Systems industry association took a prominent exhibition stand at the two-day event alongside eight members, who also exhibited.
These were event partner Transport Scotland, executive members Balfour Beatty, Gaist, SRL and WSP and members Coeval, Kier Highways, Vaisala and Yunex Traffic.

Mr Sugarman said: 'Scotland has a fantastic range of opportunities for intelligent transport, with a growing programme of work led by Transport Scotland and the local authorities.
‘Attending Road Expo Scotland early into my role has allowed me to meet members and get a real handle on all the ITS innovations in Scotland. We also had the chance for members in Scotland to say farewell to my predecessor, Jennie Martin, ahead of her retirement in the New Year.'
ITS (UK) also held an open forum session in the WSP Road Expo Theatre on Tuesday, where outgoing secretary general Ms Martin participated in a lively debate around the use of data.
Road Expo Scotland brings together transport and infrastructure leaders to network, share best practice and build effective relationships with new and existing suppliers.
