VolkerHighways has been awarded a new highways term maintenance contract for the London Borough of Camden until 2020.
With a value of £12 million per year, the contract covers highways and lighting maintenance services across the borough.
VolkerHighways has been maintaining the majority of the streets in Camden since 2009. This new contract takes over from previous contracts that split the highways service north and south with a third contract for street lighting maintenance.
The company will be working collaboratively with the borough’s supporting communities directorate to inspect and maintain the roads, street lights and pavements, undertake improvement schemes and emergency repairs. The works also involve service delivery for housing, parks and open spaces and the parking service.
