Arizona-based Eberle Design Inc and its wholly-owned subsidiary Reno A&E have promoted Ben Luke to the position of Engineering Director, with immediate effect.
He will lead the EDI and RAE Engineering team, and be responsible for all software, hardware and industrial Engineering for the company which produces vehicle detection, intersection safety monitoring, parking/access control, and fire/EMS/emergency response solutions.
“Eberle Design’s 38-year reputation is grounded upon providing the highest quality, functionality and operational reliability for our solutions offered to traffic control, parking/access, railway and transportation data collection professionals,” said EDI Vice President, Dr Bill Sowell. “The promotion of Ben Luke to Engineering Director is well deserved, as Ben has been a proven leader while serving as Engineering Manager with RAE for 18 years. We are confident that Ben will provide key Engineering leadership for enhanced product innovation and maintaining a high operational tempo.”
Luke has an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Nevada at Reno. Ben has over 18 years of experience in the design and Engineering of mission critical traffic control electronics.

Mr. Silva has faithfully served as EDI and RAE VP-Operations and VP-Engineering for 7 years, and his commitment and hard work have permitted EDI and RAE to grow to a new level of performance in both Manufacturing and Engineering. Mr. Silva has accepted another career opportunity, we wish him much success in his new endeavors and he will be missed,” said EDI CFO, April Garcia.
