Havering London Borough Council has awarded Yotta a contract to supply it with the Alloy connected asset management solution and associated cloud software services.
The contract is said to be worth just under £500,000 and follows a call-off from a framework agreement.
According to the contract award notice, which has just been published, the contract will run from 30 September 2021 to 29 September 2023.
The Alloy software and related services will support the local authority’s highways, streetlighting, street cleansing, parks, grounds maintenance and arboreal services.
Yotta is a global connected asset management and services provider, dedicated to applying technology to the advancement of infrastructure asset management and environmental services.
It said its Alloy and Horizons cloud-based asset management software ‘connects people, systems and assets so that organisations can make better, more informed decisions and manage their infrastructure assets with greater efficiency, speed and clarity than ever before’.
Last year Derbyshire County Council awarded Yotta a two-year contract worth more than £1.3m to supply the Alloy asset management system with associated services. That contract is also set to run from September 2021 to September 2023, with options to extend.
In November, Manchester City Council awarded the firm a contract worth £535,000 to supply a highway asset management system.
