Five up for Highways Awards technology prize

Eighteen different organisations are among the five collaborative entries shortlisted for the prestigious Highways Award for Best Use of Technology in the Highways Industry.


The prize, which is sponsored by Geobear, will be awarded at the event in London on 17 October.


The five nominations are:

All winners will be revealed at a gala evening at the Lancaster London hosted by former Formula 1 McLaren pit crew mechanic and motivational speaker, Marc Priestley (pictured).


The Highways Awards is organised by Highways magazine and SMART Highways and supported by the Dft, the Department of Regional Development, Highways England, Transport Scotland, Infrastructure Northern Ireland, Institute of Highways Engineers (IHE), ITS (UK) and the Welsh Assembly Government.
