Traffex Solutions Showcase: A new journey starts here

10/06/2022 |

For the first time in its storied history, Traffex Parkex is introducing a 'Solutions Showcase' theatre dedicated to innovative companies and cutting-edge ideas.

A set of masterclass presentations will be taking place across the three days 14-16 June, demonstrating some of the most forward-thinking companies, services and ideas in the traffic and transport sector.

Presentations:

char.gy

How to tell whether providing EV charging is relevant to your parking offer and what to do next. Today, even with +30,000 public chargers, it’s still quite a treat for EV drivers to find charging is available in places they park away from home.

Re-flow

Michael Saunders, co-founder and managing director of field management software provider, Re-flow, is partnering with Mikee Booth from HTM (Highway Traffic Management), to showcase why implementing Re-flow is crucial for forward-thinking infrastructure businesses. Eliminating siloed systems in favour of a single solution paves the way to mastering HSE management, instant communication of information and resources, and streamlining field operations with scheduled jobs and automated workflows.

Haizen.ai

What is 3D video analytics and how can it be a game-changer for the traffic sensing industry? In this talk, Sohaib Khan, CEO of Hazen.ai, will showcase the limitations of 2D video analytics and how they are removed with Hazen.ai’s new 3D engine, which transforms an ordinary video camera into a sophisticated 3D sensor for advanced traffic analytics. The 3D analytics engine senses each vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist as an object on a three-dimensional environment map.

NAL

NAL has been working in the EV sector for over a decade and is keen to share the knowledge gathered during this journey. NAL will cover the primary considerations for designers, installers and maintenance engineers when installing EV foundations for fast, rapid and high power charging units.

Connected Places Catapult

The Connected Places Catapult will outline its view on the ‘art of the possible’ for digital twins, SME competitions and innovation. It will discuss this vision and scale of ambition. The facilitator will invite NH participants to reflect on matters that might need to be resolved in order to achieve the vision.

Siignals

An overview of the many innovations, one with a patent pending, of the Siignals SiigSense portable traffic light controller. Rethink everything you thought you knew about portable traffic signals, with the UK’s first smartphone style interface, unencumbered by fixed, physical buttons. SiigSense users can enjoy Siignals many additional features including virtually infinite upgradeability, an industry-best three-year warranty on the radar, radio and batteries, and a genuine three-week battery life.

Navtech Radar

Navtech has been installing Stopped Vehicle Detection radars in the UK and internationally for many years on motorways and in tunnels. Now together with WJ Group, Navtech Radar is applying the same technology to roadworks.

Postworks

From "I didn't receive it" to "I want to appeal it", drop by and find out what (free) technology is available to remove ambiguity around proof of postage and how to make your inbound post work smarter instead of you working harder. This session is 5 minutes long and will run four times in our time slot, so please let us know if our speaker’s t-shirt gets a thumbs or up down.

ngenius.ai

ngenius.ai have been collaborating with Oxford University, Innovate UK and a number of UK local authorities to solve the problem of collecting reliable transport and active travel data without the need for costly manual surveying. This talk will discuss how ngenius.ai have enabled our partners to use their existing camera infrastructure to automatically run advanced transport surveys at 50% cost reduction vs current spend.
